Membership/ Registration

Monthly Chapter Meetings;

Meetings are held on the 1st Monday of the Month (with exception of holidays) 

Monthly meetings are currently "Virtual". 

Location: TBD

Time: 5:30pm to 7:30pm

Please email us  blkswmn@gmail.com if you would like to participate in a meeting. We can send you the link.

Members are encouraged to bring a perspective member.

How to become a Member:

• Register through the National Association of Black Social Workers (NABSW) website...see link below

• https://www.nabsw.org/

Select Register, Join a chapter, Select Register as a Member, Select either MN absw professional, Senior, or Student. Follow the rest of the instructions to make payment and join. 

• Attend one of the monthly meetings and commit to supporting a committee. 

• Send an email to  blkswmn@gmail.com expressing your interest in membership.  A member will provide you with membership information and support.

• Membership Committees include:      

Conference Committee        Fundraising         Membership        Scholarship       Social Development & Policy

Membership Applications are not complete without membership payments being paid with your National registration.
